History of Current Owner, Tom Stokes

Tom Stokes and his love for landscaping began at a very early age. In 1999, at the age of 15, Tom purchased his first lawn care business that was established in Selah, WA. His services included: lawn mowing, trimming, hauling, and lawn clean-up. He managed approximately 50 accounts over the course of three years. Tom sold the business in 2002 after graduating High School so he could move away to college. His adamant passion for landscaping followed him to Eastern Washington where he continued his journey in the landscaping industry. He once again started his own lawn care business at college in Cheney, WA and developed 30-40 accounts. In 2004, Tom began working on the construction side of landscaping for a highly reputable landscaping company in Spokane, WA. Tom worked his way into a foreman position that he maintained three of the four years he was with the company. Tom managed a crew of 3-6 workers at all times while developing landscape designs. Tom's dream has always been to own a landscaping business. In 2009, Tom expressed interest to the Russell's of what his dreams were and how he wanted to be in the Russell's position someday soon. In mid-2009, Tom's dream came true. The Russell's offered the business to Tom and his wife Terra.
